You're the David Attenborough of gardens, lovely descriptions, and ideas there. It's on my bucket list to visit.

So nice to see a summer border on our first day of snow, San Juan Island ,northwest Washington state USA. I love yellow, always using it, it’s the color nature always gives us. Thanks so much!

Love your videos Rosie. Was wondering if you could do one on how to fix / repair a snapped Red Star plant. Mines all snapped in places after the storm unsure if it needs the bin or there any way to even it all out again or how long it would take. Thanks Rosie ❤

❤ this is awesome. Years ago I had flower beds with all kinds of beautiful flowers and th back of each was lined with lattice covered with several kinds of hummingbird vines. I miss that.

Great Dixter is my favourite to visit. I loved Christopher I always thought as he got older how heartbreaking to think that he would leave it one day.

This gives me confidence in terms of colour as I can see orange, red, yellow white and purple. I have yellow and red in my border but i love pink and purples. With a big border this looks it works.

I have found that white is a great harmonizer. If you add a good sprinkle of white flowers in a border you can have all sorts of colors and the mix still looks right.

I think all this Great Dixter Long Border (gardening media) hoo-ha, is just a self appreciation society on steroids. With that setting and gardening resources it should be possible to create something stunningly beautiful. Instead it is just an over-hyped mess, in my opinion. An emperor with no clothes.

I know what you mean. Perhaps it needs some sort of unifying presence such as a shrub repeated or one of two colours given more prominence? On a much smaller scale, I'm trying blue/mauve and white - reds. oranges and yellows really pop against the subdued background
