It's a crazy one, but so beautiful. All about Light intensity, Co2 & fertilizer manipulation.

I love stems, especially rotala, the maintenance tho! 😂 This was my solution to it. I no longer keep rotala anywhere else except for ‘florida’ hahahaha! Good to see again you friend!

This is a really well-done video, and the growth is just astonishing. Great job all around. I have been trying to let mine emerse naturally, but it's so far preferred to just grow across the top of the water. But seeing yours, it looks like the solution might be to place the stems way more densely.
@maniniscapes19363 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! Plant the rotala as densely as your overall tank flow allows. For a long while they will run around and fill the tank submerged. Eventually you will have a mat that will start to send emersed tips. Allow the emersed growth to get dense before trimming back and it should maintain itself thereafter. Rotala grown emersed is a joy to keep! 💚🌿
Jeeesssus! That's alot of light power. What does your light schedule look like? I just got an ai prime freshwater but am shooting in the dark on what/how the photoperiod should be scheduled.

Try something simple at first. Approximately .5w - 1w per gallon for approximately 6-8 hours. Later you can manipulate ramp time/duration to extend the photo period as well maximizing peak intensity. DM me on IG for more explanation. @manini_scapes 💚🌱

Hi! Which rotala gives the yellowish tone?
@maniniscapes19366 ай бұрын
Macrandra! But it really it comes down to light & co2 intensity - leaning ferts can allow color enhancement as well.
