Depends on how you look at them. Mechanically speaking, they are pretty simple. Ditch the second chamber, focus just on one (even if it wouldn't work right) and it's downright baby steps in terms of how an IC engine works (ignoring the different forms). IF, however, you look at them in terms of steps taken, tolerances, build elements, they can be a bit of a nightmare. And this one's a pretty simple one, there's the venerable's 787b's engine out there.. which is pure mechanical porn, yes, but ...i wouldn't touch that engine with a ten foot pole. And i love rotary engines.

@@asertaPiston engine have more moving parts in one head alone compared to the entire rotary engine and still last longer that's the only thing I don't get why aside from the seals wearing fast.

@@TheWhatman21 Because the distance apex/side/corner seals and oil control rings travel per rotation as opposed to a piston engine and the fact either your o.m.p or premix is there only source of lubrication. Not to mention all lubricated parts in a piston engine aren't in the combustion chamber aside from the compression rings.

I'm no expert but Hoonicorn is awd purpose built 1 off race car, no a.c. no stereo, touch screens, gadgets, etc. Demon would get exorcised in the 1/4mile. In a mile the Demon might catch it, if it doesn't blow up.
