Went to Kingsdown Camping site in Deal last September to reunite with a couple of guys who I hadn't seen for half a century. We arranged to have a fire and were supplied with a fire-pit to keep it off the ground. The pit turned out to be a washing- machine drum on some steel legs and it worked brilliantly. Just bolt the flat bars through the sides of the drum to form the legs and it works really well to create a fire suitable for simply keeping warm or providing a friendly ambience, or for simple cooking purposes. 😁

Hi. My issue is when I have a full load of washing (there is 5 of us in my house) on my rotary airer the wind blows it over as it on my patio in a standard concrete base. If I make one of these base will increase the sturdiness of my airer?
