Great video Toby. Z's coaching really showed the difference in the development of game sense difference between you guys. Just some observational differences between how you played this game verse what I typically see in your gameplay: 1) Two gun load out. I've commented on this before but I've see you give up utility or Fizz to run 3 guns in games where It makes no sense to do so. Here you have all you need in a combat shot gun and AR or burst smg. 2) Map knowledge. It more that just rotating like you said at the end. Z knows his map. He knows launch pad locations, fiz rings, and how to rotate intentionally from movement item to movement item which saves a ton of time on rotations. This season especially I feel like you've stuck to specific areas in your games rather than taking more time to explore your map and develop rotational paths from location where you want to land. In most of you ranked games it's felt like your drops where like spinning a wheel and landing where the dial fell. Because of that you never really had streamlined loot paths you were just going where zones and or fights took you. 3) knowing when to fight and when not. Toby you are aggressive player and when you are on stream I feel like you feel obligated to be "The Dragon" sometimes to your detriment. You don't always realize when a fight has shifted momentum to your opponents or when it's progressed to a point where you are likely to be 3rd partied and recognizing when full disengagment is the move. A lot of time you hold on and you get yourself killed in the process. Even in this video you had the fight in the bag and came off height to finish you kill rather than being patient and Z's reaction was to tell you to get back on height. I think you are recognizing some of these same barriers and you are on your way to being a good ranked player

Broooooo i just came to thank YOU! Last night i had a night shift, quiet times and i could binge watch your recent videos, today i could get 2 victory royales in a row, match after match! I could never pull something like that! My main takeaways were always find cover (before I would go full on, face to face fire fighting) now i analyze the whats going on around me, AVOID some and always finding the time to heal AND have the emp or someway to improve my mobility! I was stuck so frigging bad on my sticking points I could never surpass if have i not watched your vidz! ❤

Really, this is exactly what you needed. Personally, I suck, but I did win over 20% of my public matches. I've only been playing for a year now. Again tho, I suck, and I'm old. How did I win over 20%? Pure strategy! My K/D is around 4 per game, but I really only focused on wins this season. I see lots of people that are skilled like yourself, but they take so many risks, they don't win as much.

At 9:10, the dude had a health advantage and you damaged him for a 51 and yet, he runs away as if he/she’s very low. These types of players are what makes me mad, they shoot at you and as soon as you shoot them, they run away when they had an advantage. I’m very glad you got him.

Call me crazy but in that location at the start of the video, I would've gone for the slurp truck at the end of the dock and saved the flowberry fizz.

@fortnitefreethinker2 ай бұрын
Fair enough. @1:12 When you asked the coach whether to keep full momentum or look back I'd have chosen to keep full momentum and still try for the slurp truck knowing if I landed a bit early I could still sprint at the same speed anyone might be gliding above me. Question for the pros or vets... why do you pickaxe something under a chest or ammo box if it takes almost the same amount of time to open it? Plus you disarm yourself for those few seconds too! What gives?

I am a very average no build pub player, but I sunk some hours in chapter 5 season 3(the same as in this vid), even I remember that landing location has slurp barrel by the entrance, and I know to drink small shield potion before cactus before wasting the flowbeery frizz. Also I must have kill 50+ player who tries to take the nitro point blank before shooting me. I never understood why bother with nitro when I could easily placed 2-3 gatekeeper shots. Even I know drinking nitro stamina gives infinite jumps that’s faster than sliding or sprinting. Just the first 5 mins in this vid, I can see your coach is not correcting your bad habits. How many trucks is he holding back from you😂

@Zarraxus2 ай бұрын
Not really, he had the option to fight island and then jump people with the rifts and pads but he chose the safer play. You can choose to take good risks and make your game more entertaining or you can play safer to reduce your chance of losing to someone with better loot than you. I personally play a very aggressive game and take almost every good risk I can but it comes down to personal preference in the end. The important lesson is to not take bad risks that put you at an extreme disadvantage outside of that play however you want.
