60%? those are rookie numbers you gotta pump those up! i'm honestly expecting 80% of mine to eat it on 10 man, the off tank will be one of the two who dodges it, and me the raid lead. on 25 man, i'm gonna up it to 3/25, me the off tank and the other 10 man raid lead lol.

Remember that if the raiders are slow moving out with the debuff you will eventually be overran and risk getting several big oozes simultaneously.

If 2 big oozes merge, what happens to aggro? Do they reset? Do they maintain the aggro of the one that spawned first?

big oozes cannot merge, the kiting tank has to aggro both until one explodes

would it be possible to just merge every two new small oozes to a new big one.. without any of the big ones reaching 5 stacks? so you could skip the whole explosion mechanic.@@choochoo1424

@@Hughmility lol no they don't. You can clearly see at the time stamp 02:26 the two big oozes turn into one and then that SINGLE ooze explodes. Insane that even with it a literal timestamp and video evidence people still just make up shit about this game. Like there's literally a cast bar when they explode and you can clearly see that there is only one cast bar and one explosion...

Are paladins the best choices for offtanks because they can cleanse the players themselves?

I think DK might be the true best but its not a huge deal - just whichever of your tanks is best on comms. Your healers should have no problem with cleansing!

Are there any threat problems on the oozes? Thinking just IT spam from a DK would be better than minimal threat from a paladin.

So far the paladin tanks haven't dispelled it themselves in my raids. Part of it has to do with the fact that it's better if healers decide if some of the diseases need to be cleansed fast. Especially towards the end of the fight some are better dispelled fast because the damage can be a problem.

Is there any reason why all melee shouldn't be stacked on one leg of the boss then move to the other when the Ooze explodes?

That's what we did, it works well and I'm sure is better than 9 melee just doing their own thing. Had one person call when to move.

How to win at Rotface HC Ooze crowd control: Freezing trap the small oozes Root the small oozes Merging oozes: Only merge small oozes with small oozes Only merge big oozes with big oozes DK offtank should use the outer ring to kite the big ooze around the room If you execute it good enough you will not have no explosion at all Other tips: Always have enough people in range for vile gas Ranged stay spread, vile gas Will spread to people close to you Tank always position the boss in the direction from where Rotface spit last When professor says: “good News everyone i fixed the poison slime pipes” its time for ranged to check which quarter of the room will be filled with slime next. never fills the same twice in a row On Rotface normal the entire raid can stand under the boss moving a few feet here and there to avoid the spit ability (no vile gas) Since that is no challenge at all, only do this boss on HC difficulty
