"These storyboard thumbnails were from the first attempt at putting some cohesive story elements into the 3rd Act of the film that would play out the idea of belief in the Guardians powers their magic. This version still had the shadow creatures making harpoons to capture the moon, and yeah, stuff like that there...So, in the next part of this proposed seq., the Guardians are locked out of the children's homes because belief in them has waned. Pitch's nightmares have control and Jack Frost is going to give one last shot at helping the Guardians regain their rightful place. Here the Guardians position themselves at every home ready to intervene and rescue the children from Pitch if Jack can come through on his promise." ~ Darren Webb.
