I saw a commercial for the Roto Sweep and was going to buy it until I found your review. I bought the Easy Edge from QVC and am very happy with it. For $20 or so, you can't go wrong. It is so convenient compared to getting out the vacuum. I also pull off my pet hair by hand, no big deal.

I bought the blue Hurricane Spin Broom you demonstrated. It worked great picking up tiny ants. Used it 4 or 5 times and then the little plastic tabs that hold the dirt chamber door broke off! I super glued them back on but they broke off the very next time I used it. Very cheaply made. Asked the company who made it, Bulbhead if they would replace the door for me and they quickly said it was a 30 day guarantee and since I bought it in March and now it was July, they would not replace the door. Like it would have killed them to do that for me. Cheap cheap cheap, and mean.

Thank you! I could not find a good review on hurricane and Roto sweep. However based on your testing and review for what I need did not met it. Therefore I am going with the old version sweeper that works with carpet, picks-up coffee grounds and can pick up debris on reverse. Thank you for this! I am one of the consumers that was relying on the Fuller Brush name. I have now reconsidered. Now all I need to find out is height of base, the Blue one looks shorter, a better chance of reaching under edges of counters. Also we live in the sandhills and it performed well with coffee and flour. Since sand is my main concern, those are pretty close. :)

The bases are all about 2.5" tall, but they all have about another .75" - 1" where the connector for the handle is.

I just got in a roto-sweep and it works better than my hurricane spin broom that spits everything out in it's path while the roto-sweep is loud but it picks up a hell lot better and is quicker and picks up everything in it's path all I have to say is don't go with online reviews thank you freakin reviews have a nice day

Peter Pan as they have stated they only ship too the US and Canada so you have answered your own question.I will bet they will have a separate sales campaign in your country if it is successful here and in Canada.

I love these head-to-head testing videos you do! So thanks for that first of all. Secondly, I've been looking at these things for some time now and after seeing your test here, I think I'll just stick with my swiffer and my vacuum cleaner. It seems more like a waste of energy to me. Plus, the fact that you can only push it in one direction would make these guys into 'learning curve' territory. I'm too old for learning curves lol. It's a BROOM basically. There shouldn't be anything to LEARN about it. lol... Anyway..thanks for this! And I look forward to more. make sure the rotating disks with bristles goes into the scoop while being cleaned by the scoop edges on the bottom, on this one your bristles didn't feed into the scoop edges like the Hurricane did 1:01

Interesting you talk about the screws on the easy edge...I tried to unscrew them today and then searched for videos (and found yours) to try and see how to put back together. It seems the "screws" break apart if u unscrew them. Have you have different luck then me?

I have the spin broom and it seems to work pretty well. What is interesting is the difference in performance of these units. I say this because they seem to have almost identical construction. I found the sandwich test comical. I think just picking the sandwich up by hand would be much simpler. I've had a swivel sweeper for years and I think that product does a better job and is powered.

I am also surprised, especially between Easy Edge and Roto Sweep since they are almost identical visually. Easy Edge appears to be a better made product, despite the similar design.

You have to give them credit, they do pick up pet hair. Reminded me of a consumer report done in lawn mowers. They were seeing how well they mulched. One model had no visible grass debris. They found it all packed up under the deck.

We're selling our house and we have a Yellow Lab who sheds a lot. We have a Miracle Spin Broom and it picks up the dog hair between vacuuming pretty well, however you have to pick the hair off the roller with your fingers once in a while. For dog hair and dry dog food, it works pretty well. For heavy stuff, forget about it. The little spinning wheels are like whiskers on a cat.

I have a roto sweep that suddenly stopped spinning, it slid. I found out the crane that moves both sweeps, simply torn out and so it won't sweep any more.

Just saved me time and money. Was ready to go out and pick up the Rotosweep. Definitely going with the Easy Edge. Really kinda sucks that you can't go backwards with any of them. Doesn't really sit well with me. Don't like the idea of picking it up and repositioning the sweeper.

I am surprised James that you didn’t conclude by saying that you would just scrap all three and use a regular broom. The best broom ever made was the Slimline by Stanley Home Products when they had their Westfield Massachusetts factory. The ends of the bristles were made for dust pick up. I know- my Grandma was a dealer for over 30 years and went on a tour of the factory. Sadly Fuller bought them out and closed the Mass plant. Just about everything Stanley Home Products made was top notch. No other product comes close to their Degreaser which you can still get on Amazon and EBay.

Freakin' Reviews I finally got my Easy Edge today. Easy to put together and easy to use! It picked everything up I ran over with it. I also got it to work on these flat no pile runner rugs we have which is great because one of them is in front of our dryer and when my husband does not empty his pockets it creates a mess lol.

Great review, I personally think the hurricance spin broom sweeps better than the easy edge in one sweep but in terms of quietness, the easy edge is the best and still sweeps way better than the roto, the roto Is just horrible. Now I know which to buy.

I own the blue one and a broom is just as easy in most cases, tbh. I still have to go back with a broom to clean up what the spin broom misses, so it defeats the purpose. (And the spin broom does not pick up pine needles which is my biggest headache.)

driver2265 very true we are all there but most of these new things they are making can't pick up every little thing like they are supposed too, there are some tiny vaccums they have that almost do that are even smaller then this, these are like the street sweepers guess they just need to evolve them even more, like the brush instead of using brissels use like the pet brush that grabs hair easy and you can remove it and clean the hair and something more thicker for brushes on the legs to pick up coffee and other really fine things other wise a grabber and a rag will do or broom and dust pan

Ordered the Roto Sweep a few months ago. Took about 7-8 weeks to receive. It works okay...not great, not bad. It serves our purpose to pick up crumbs, dog food, etc. However, I still need to take a vacuum to the hardwood floors every other week where before it was every week. Can't keep up with the dog hair no matter what I do...those pesky Golden Retrievers..... :)

I don't think these brooms are made to go over the floor slow like your going. They sold these back in the 90' s even before that probably. They didn't have the edge brushes. However they were able to go on thin carpet. Pizza hut used them all the time.

I dislike all spinbrooms. Im happy with the standard broom and dustpan. Since you can only use spinbrooms on hardwood floors. I prefer a swifer.

The time you save on sweeping and picking up dirt with these devices you lose by cleaning them. Also dust and shoe soil is smaller than coffee or cracker crumbs.
