I flew the factory rotorway demo. A 162F when considering a build project many years ago. I did not like the rotor and tail rotor drive system. I would not put my family in anything less than a fully certified turbine heli.

Really nice and cheap, but don’t ever go fly a new r-22/44 you’ll be simply disgusted with everything else you look at. Nothing really compares to a solid matte black r-44 with the bells and whistles.

rotorway vs r22 had both. R22 turn key and go. rotorway was a good project for my dad and I.
