We charge per room. So each room was around $50 and the living room would count as two rooms. Plus the hallway $25. We always either CRB or use the 360i. The 360i scrubs as it cleans.

Most of the time I did a dry pass.
@randylooney59122 жыл бұрын
I think I am doing something wrong, when I use my 360i the carpet isn't getting as dry as when I use my wand. The 360i cleans well just doesn't dry as well as my wand. Are you doing anything special like turning the water flow down?
@MKCleaner2 жыл бұрын
Randy, thanks for eat and commenting. Typically I would always do an extra dry stroke sometimes two. That always seemed to help. You can also lower the flow rate by controlling the flow switch.

What equipment would you recommend for someone looking to start in the business?

Hey Joseph, thanks for watching and commenting. It really depends on your market. If your doing mostly commercial work like apartments or rental homes then the rotovac is the way to go. If residential then I’d get a good wand like a prochem or devestator etc. When it comes to machines it really depends on you and how much you want to spend initially

A little advice…best not to walk all over carpet that was saturated in urine while it’s still wet. Booties or no booties, the pressure you’re applying will allow that urine in the pad to resurface easily. Main reason I don’t give customers booties, gives them a false sense of security. Don’t want those dormant stains in the pad to pop. Dope videos though 👍🏼

The rotovac will ALWAYS be better . The wand is good for corners and room edges. The rotovac is far superior on everything else . I will say you went the wrong way cleaning with the rotovac . The first direction should be across the room and second direction should be out . Will be much easier to groom as the lay of the fibres will be going in the right direction. Then you wont be left with rotory lines
@samoday299211 ай бұрын
@@ThePvoncannon the wand is ok for non soiled carpets . The crb is just a flash grooming brush .

You don’t clean carpet like that, you replace it and the pad as well!
@garyhilderbrandt45894 күн бұрын
Definitely not impressed. That’s a builders cheap carpet it’s trashed. I can still see plenty of dirt in the carpet fiber you’ll never get it out. That carpets only meant to last about five years before you replaced it. That’s what the builders put in when they build the house in the condos I know because I’m a carpet installer for 25+ years. It’s the right process but sometimes you just can’t get out all the dirt. It’s too far into the fiber, it wasn’t maintained correctly.

You didnt use the wand properly you did a bad job on the wand...and with the rotovac you did put more effer on it
@MKCleaner3 жыл бұрын
Heriberto, thanks so much for watching. I'll need some clarification from you because your comment is very vague. 1. What do you mean I didn't use the wand properly? 2. Explain how I did a bad job? 3. How did I put more effort in the 360i? I don't think you watched the video to be honest. If you did you would have heard how I prefer using the wand over the 360i. However, it is impossible to do with the wand what the 360i can accomplish in the same time frame. Can you create the same amount of revolutions per min the 360i does? No you can't. The issue is you're allowing your bias to cloud reality. I use the wand and CRB combo 3 to 1 vs the 360i just because I prefer it. But you have to use 2 tools to accomplish this. Yes you can use the wand but you'll have to scrub twice as hard and use it for much longer.
@ThePvoncannon3 жыл бұрын
Heriberto Arias, can you please leave a link below to your videos so we can see how to properly use the wand? I really would love to know the right way to do it? Do you have a channel I can follow? I’m new to the industry and really want to learn...How about a FB page? I would love to see some of your content.
@MrKooderna Жыл бұрын
I mean this out of love, but there is a lot of old blood out there that will wand all day every day and wonder why at 50 they have joint problems. The rotary is the way to go, we commit to the 360XL with brush head and half water covers almost eveything you could imagine and it's nearly 100% 1:1 water recovery. CGD, white barber, high pile... It just rips eveything out in half the time of the wand and much much dryer at nozzle half cocked. I used to wand eveything until I discovered the 360xl and now that goes into every home with me.
