When our fur babies go over the rainbow 🌈 bridge it’s one of the most devastating experience. I really understand what Chris felt, I have anxiety disorder and struggled with depression at some point and my cat's been helping so much. I found him in the street when he was a baby and sometimes I feel like we were meant to meet and save each other. He comes and purrs against my chest, licks my nose, cuddles with me. He follows me around, sleeps in my arms, we play together, he's like my best friend. I don't really have close friends, I struggle with relationships, but my cat keeps me grounded and helps me feel loved when I feel lonely. He's now a 16yo very healthy and happy cat, but I know the day will come when I'll have to say goodbye and I can barely imagine it. I don't know how I'll cope without him.

Its been a year to the day since my dog passed. He was only a puppy when he followed me home, I was 18. He was there through the births of my children, when my ex hit me, when my now partner of 9 years and I lost our eldest daughter, a few weeks before that I lost my best friend of nearly 17 years, and a year later lost my grandad who raised my sister and I. He never left my side. He ended up having a tumour, we got him surgery to get rid of it and he was ok for about 6 months but he collapsed one day and didn't get back up. So this episode hit me hard as well. I hope you're doing ok ❤

Unfortunately at seven years old for a mini like that, but is extremely dangerous and not at all healthy for the dog. But people pay a lot of money for those puppies. That’s why people continue to breed when they shouldn’t be and it’s unfortunate. There are so many loving animals out there that need homes, it’s disappointing to see someone breed another older female for nothing more than puppies to sell. I disagree that they love their dog. They might love the money they have made off of her but someone who truly loves their animal would not put them at risk like that, for a few dollars.

Very emotional episode. The way Scott handled Chris and his dogs was nothing short of understanding and compassion. So glad Levi threw up that sock. I felt bad for the Pomeranian with the stuck puppies, and happy they were saved. However, I don't think the mother ought to have any more puppies. She's way too small. The bearded dragon with the retained egg hit close to home. I raise ball pythons and one of my females had a similar problem a couple of years ago. She laid 5 of the 9 eggs she was carrying, but the rest were stuck and couldn't be laid. The vet tried pitocin without any luck. My snake essentially had to be spayed---she had to have her entire reproductive tract removed. She's healthy now, but has a pretty good sized scar from her surgery. (Jan Griffiths).

I had a snake of mine become eggbound, she's well now, but it was so concerning to see her so flat. She's normally a very sassy girl. I'm glad that wasn't the case for zackie. I feel so bad for JC's dad. My staffie is getting up there in years, thankfully healthy, but getting older. I have no clue how I'd react to losing here. She's seen me through so much; tears, bad times, wonderful times, and I so many memories that I will never forget. She's been my candle through the storm, and also became my service dog as somehow she knows what to do when I have a seizure. She was certified a year after I got her.

He sensed how dire Chris was losing his best friend, so an everyday neutering, while there can be complications, he allowed Chris to be with his dog during the the anesthesia procedure and the wake up procedure just to ease his anxiety a bit more. Wow, the story of the loss of Chris's beloved JC gutted me because it put into perspective that my Peanut is "elderly" and getting so much slower the past 6 months or so

To everyone who loses a beloved pet, I recently learned that, Yes, our pets will be with us in the afterlife in heaven. I have had to put one down earlier than I wanted and still cry for them, I had to relenquish one as we do not have such good services where I live. The technician kept her. She has a bunch of friends now, and a lovely home. I couldn't afford the bills and my baby got better. Now ,I feed and rehome as many animals as possible. I love them all, they seem to love me too!

This is the only occupation you can hear "did you eat a sock?" and not be severely worried about someones psychiatric will being

The dog eating a sock reminds me of our Irish Setter back in the 70s that was his snack of choice and it was usually by best friends and next door neighbor. Her ocd mother flipped out when she found 1 and took it home and wanted her mom to wash it so she could have her favorite pair to wear it was so funny I couldn't believe she actually thought it would happen

Gosh watching Chris and JC breaks my heart. Especially since he looks IDENTICAL to my girl Kairi who is getting older now. So sad that he had to be put to sleep... Poor love 😭

I hope the owners got the Pomeranian spayed. She is obviously too small to have babies.

Yup. There's no need to put her through that kind of physical and emotional trauma again. People who are that cruel to their own pets should not be allowed to have/keep them; unless they get the animal spayed, and stop breeding animals altogether. They're totally irresponsible.

I feel bad for small dog breeds like Lily's, since their size makes it easy for their puppies to get stuck during birth. I'm glad Lily and her pups are okay.

I had a tiny kitten eat a huge treble fishing hook. He was our favorite kitten. My father said the vet he trained with said to force feed him only vasolene until he passed it. He did! This truck has saved many friends animals from dangerous surgery. You do have to look through the fecal matter to find the object. If the animal starts to act poorly or doesn't pass the item within 3 day then surgery is needed.

I hope the vets told the owners of Lily they should never breed her again. It’s horrible that at 7 years old she is giving birth, the pups are too big and I have to wonder if the owners are just greedy and making her give birth for money. It’s disgusting. I wonder how many times she’s given birth.

The owner even said the male was going to be a breeder, but looking at the owners nationality, they don’t see animals in the same way especially when it comes to breeding.

Tiberius has some awesome eyes there. The black sclera really makes him look tough but on the inside he's just a good boy.
