Unfortunately the reviews are true. Yes it contains more plot and narrative than previous movies, but the sense of scale and visual flair that Michael bay brings is missing

@@avery.a5948 Yeah the box office hasn’t been great but Hasbro will still finance more movies because the toy sales go up by over 600% when a movie is released. At least it didn’t bomb as hard the Flash lol 😂 now that really is a stinking turd or a bomb. Transformers might only make 450 million at the box office, Flash won’t make 300 lol 😂

I stopped caring about Rotten Tomatoes long ago. They are more like a marketing tool than objective criticism most of the time. Doesn't mean they are wrong with their rating on this movie (I haven't seen it myself, yet), but imo they lost credibility. Also, they seem to dislike what a normal Transformers fan enjoys. Hopefully the movie do well enough in the box office to continue this path.

At this point, I feel like critics are just tired of Transformers, because they hear the name “Transformers” and all they can think is “oh great, *_ANOTHER_* Michael Bay explosion fest… 🙄”. That, and people just seem done with big, bombastic blockbusters *_IN GENERAL,_* given the critical downfall of the MCU, almost everyone and their mother hating Jurassic World: Dominion and the so far middling box office numbers of Fast X compared to its *_RIDICULOUS_* budget.
