‘What We Do in the Shadows’ Stars on Season 4 and Parenting Colin Robinson | Rotten Tomatoes TV

Matt Berry (Laszlo), Natasia Demetriou (Nadja), Harvey Guillen (Guillermo), and Kayvan Novak (Nandor) shed some light on season 4 of ‘What We Do in the Shadows,’ FX’s vampire mockumentary series that returns on July 12. The merry band of vampires broke apart at the end of season 3, after welcoming baby Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) into the world. Season 4 promises to test the vampires’ parenting skills with Colin’s energy vampire powers at their height in his diminutive form. Nadja has opened a club, and Guillermo and Nandor are each on the hunt for a life partner. Rotten Tomatoes correspondent Naz Perez coaxes some delicious - and hilarious - scoops out of the Staten Island-based vampire roommates and their trusty bodyguard.

Credit to the interviewer. Usually these types of interviews can be awkward at times, but she does an amazing job and keeping the conversation flowing. Rarely if ever have I happily sat through a 40 minute celeb interview and enjoyed every minute.

it's honestly crazy to me how much people love that jackie daytona episode. i think it's one of the best episodes for sure and it's peak matt berry but i didn't latch on to him as much as everyone else. the way he pronounces certain words kills me. in the pine barrons episode this season when he simply says 'NANDOR, i have been double crossed by the DEV-ELL,' i literally replayed that 10 times because i was laughing so hard.

This show is fantastic however there is 1 fatal flaw. If vampires have no reflection, how would they ever be captured on film or any of the photos that exist in the show of them (other than painted portraits obviously)

I thought it was just mirrors but I just realised they don't have any reflections at all except on film They could have gone the "silver=holy" which would explain them showing up in modern cameras but not on the (antique silvered) mirrors of the house. But then they have old daguerrotypes and polaroids but no reflection even on modern mirrors (like on jackie daytonas bar) either. 😅

A photo is of the thing or person itself, not of its reflection. Cameras haven't used mirrors in the photographic process in a long time!
