it is possible to be played on six string guitar.....as far as i know , rotting christ use 6 strings.....but anyway , a good tunning for this song for 6 string is Drop D half step down , meaning D#5 , A#4 , F#4 , C#4 , G#3 ,C#3 , as Drop D is E5 , B4 , G4 , D4 , A3 , D3.
