I’ve been reading about it & it said that a lot of rotts are allergic to lamb & it’s suggested not to give them that . What’s your experience? Also , I have an almost 6 month old female (she was the runt) & I’m thinking about mixing her , raw & kibble . How do you suggest introducing? She’s also shown some food aggression 🥴

If you kibble and raw, give her 5 hours to fast after raw before having kibble. Or 8 hours after kibble before raw. Raw and kibble don’t digest the same, the acidity in the stomach is different depending on the food consumed. In all honesty, I suggest one or the other until adulthood when you only feed twice a day.

Every day I cook my 4 month old female Rottweiler luna mince meat / forequarter lamb chops / ribeye steak / sirloin steak / liver / turkey mince etc cooked with gravy and veggies with a packet of her wet food as a topper with 2x tea spoons of supplements with also a high quality royal canin Rottweiler puppy kibble my vet said to not give her raw meats period until she is 1 years old… would it be okay to give it to her raw meat once a week? She is beefy! And stocky now when I got her she was underweight since I got her I’ve beef’ed her up and taken good care of her and of course I only want what’s best for her!

I went to this food place for pets in australia and got her some raw meat like chicken mince , turkey neck , chicken frames , lean beef mince .. as I’m going to give her raw meat at least twice a day , small amounts to. Get her tummy used to it.. Today on the menu I’m thinking to make some kangaroo with pasta , veggies or salmon rice veggies … Or some lamb chops with pasta veggies and gravy I try not to mix it up too too much but I like to give her something different every week

I used to do Schutzhund Training an i imported dogs from Germany . Are Club Rottweiler owner's some paid as much as 30k for imported Schutzhund 3 dogs an we all uses to feed are dogs Abady Dog Food Maintenance an Stress By Robert Abady. Read some of his articles you will do yourself an the dogs a favor by using this food, its not cheap but you dont need to feed alot because of its high quality. Its hard to get a can be frustrating getting it but when you can find a outlet buy extra . I used to add 15% Raw meat not chicken about 3 or 4 times a week along with the Abady a good grade hamburger or steak meat .

Crazy thing is. I had kids early an he is super protective of them don’t let no one around my son he don’t know. Barks when my daughter wakes up to let us know. I just know he is old an he has been with me for years an I can’t replace Him with another bully. It is perfectly acceptable to crate train your Rottweiler. Sometimes this practice is also based on the dogs personality and the best interest of the dog. I'm certain it won't be forever.

I crate trained my Rott puppy, and he LOVES his crate. I never use it for punishment, it's a safe place that he can go and chooses to too. There have been a lot of people who abuse "cages" for animals, but yeah, all depends on how've taught your dog to view his crate. My little guy also is on the Raw Food, and it's his favorite thing- but yeah he'll drag chicken right behind the couch if I let him haha. :)
