I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great kzbin.infoUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.

Wow after seeing the vice in action (3 years after it was posted haha) I fully understand the advantage of the steel wheel. It may be a little while until we can get a vice of this caliber into our shop, but i have no doubts that it is a must! I even dreamt that there was one on my bench!
@itsbeendays53517 жыл бұрын
I built this bench with some minor modifications. This video, along with the other on the wagon vise, really helped explain the installation of the vises. I found a great article on cutting Condor Tails, which are the very large dovetails on the wagon vise in a back issue of popular woodworking. Cutting the " Chop", which is the large recess cut out for the leg vise was made much easier with that same set up of the large guide bars supporting the fences on either side of the router. It is not an inexpensive or quick project but well worth your time. Guido's skill is exceptional and the video makes the process much easier.

Agreed. Similar the endless routing footage was pointless. If you're going to make someone watch, at least get in closer so they can actually see the router cutter and what it's cutting, as opposed to the entire router moving in something you can't see because of the camera angle!

Tapping a hole with a hand held drill motor is not the best, even though the holes were drilled perpendicular by the drill press. As seen, the hand drill will wobble cutting irregular weaker threads. Also, a tap will not always track straight in the hole just because the hole is true. It would be better to have a variable speed motor in the drill press and use that to run the tap into the hole if possible. I use a drill press for drilling and then tapping into wood or steel. After drilling the holes I remove the belt and turn the pulley by hand.
@edwardcharles97649 жыл бұрын
I would of used a larger tap and more of a buttress thread. That looked around 8mm fine, fat too puny for wood.

Práticos área de abrangência de força superior e com o uso são práticos de manejar 4 macacos um par exercendo força no objeto a colar ou furar contra o outro seria 4 toneladas de força, precisa de mais que isso?
