As I've also said when there's a Malon meme, most likely was her considering the background of TP, farming community, near the Lost Woods, her desire to marry a knight, we know Hero of Time was also a knight from the Hero's Shade. He is also an adult, taller than Hero of Twilight, so he doesn't die in Majora's Mask, grows up, and married someone most likely Malon. Might've had a rough death becoming a Stalfos, but he must've had a good life at some point.
