Shulk’s Sword being the Monado is a big deal because Malos (the main villain in Xenoblade 2 and Mythra’s equal) has a manado of his own. Mythra, Malos, Shulk & Alvis are all connected via the weapons and core crystals the brandish… Rex as well by technicality. Sorry I’m a nerd. (I’m not sorry.
