Jacque has changed his story. In another long shoot about this, he admitted that after he hit Dynamite, Dynamite was wobbling, but grabbed Jacque by the tights and started pulling him in, Jacque was scared and trying to pull away, and that's when Raymond yelled at him to hit Dynamite again. They just wanted to get away after the sucker assault. Bad News came and pushed them back, and then he admitted they "RAN" (he then quickly changed it to "we WALKED" lol...) away. Pretty pathetic and cheap by the Rougeaus, but having said that, Dynamite was indeed a bully and a nasty person. Really this was shameful for everyone. If I have to choose, I'd rather deal with the guy who bullies you and challenges you to your face, than the guy who conspires with his brother and dad to jump you, and sucker you with everything he's got and a weapon in his hand after you've eaten.....

@@wjl2068 “kid dynamite” as you call him, SLAPPED Jacques from behind. Then let him get up and beat the crap out of him. In front of the entire locker room. Straight up. Jimmy Hart said dynamite “turned him around” and THEN beat him up. Totally different than a guy with a roll of coins hiding and then lunging out to sucker punch with all his might. Get the facts straight and maybe learn something before you call other people childish names.

Dynamite cheap shotted him from behind then used the people he associated with to hide behind in order to intimidate The Rougeaus. 2 against the possibility of 8? How's Jacque a coward? Jacque over delivered and handled it well like a man. In all fairness, Dynamite self destructed, was abusive, selfish,and abandoned his family. Unfortunately those were his flaws. Is Dynamite's action before and after in the way he lived his life not a true coward? Self loathing until the day he died? Very convenient he never tried that crap on Sheik & Volkoff or Beefcake & Valentine but on Jacque & Raymond because he thought he could get away with it. Nobody knew enough about them at the time to see if they could defend themselves. Jacque was just a good reserved man who people thought was an easy target yet he proved he was all man. It's also very convenient nobody bullied or tried to fight both Rougeaus again. Bad news could B.S. sometimes but he never did anything. Everyone knew Jacque was right because it was a receipt/self defense attack.
@jonathanhockey9943
@jonathanhockey9943 Жыл бұрын
It was no sucker assault, it was a receipt for a previous sucker assault against a bully. It was 2 Rougeaus against potentially 5-10 people in Dynamites group, including Davey Boy, Bad News Brown, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart. I think he did well what he needed to do. He admits himself he is no fighter, but had to do it to protect his honour. Later, it was Dynamite who ended up apologising to end the whole feud, so he knew he was in the wrong even himself.

Okay, why is everybody getting on Jacques' case for ding this? You go back to the first video, and Curt Henning did play the joke, and all Jacques said was "If the bulldogs messed with my personal belongings (A BIG no-no in the locker-room) I'm not going to stand for it, I'll inform Vince." So then Henning goes while the Rougeaus have left for the airport, and starts saying how the Rougeaus are going to start trying to get the Bulldogs fired and this and that. So later on at another show, the brothers in the back playing cards, and Dynamite comes out of nowhere and just coldcocks Jacques in the side of the head, completely fucks his face up for the tour, and busts his balls about it for the entire trip. Dynamite DESERVED to get his teeth knocked out. For that matter, so did Henning for instigating everything, but he came out squeaky clean

Dynamite kid is infamous for soccer kicking rookies heads and being a bully, Mick Foley got a kicking from the Bulldogs for no reason. In the wrestling business, you are trusting the wrestler you are wrestling to be professional and look after you, if they take liberties and deliberately hit you and hurt you then its assault, plain and simple.

Are you guys forgetting The Bulldogs were related to the Hart’s so Bret’s story might be skewed a bit. They had a large presence. At anytime the group could have gotten revenge and except for Vince it probably would have happened. So those doubting the courage required to do this have to put this in the context of group payback from the Hart Clan.

I wonder if the reason (to whatever degree) behind Dynamite's bullying of Jacques may be rooted, at least in part anyway, to the fact that Rougeau is French and Billington is English and the English and French have a long bitter history of disliking each other. Hmmmmm??

5:45, Yeah a lot of the Wrestlers were double tough. but Dynamite wasn't just tough that allowed him to take a lethal punch from a loaded fist of quarters. He took 'Horse Steroids' (yup, not human steroids). This is probably the reason why when Haku wasn't available that Randy Savage as WWF Champion always took Dynamite with him as a bodyguard in bars that were in the NWA's territory. Randy knew he'd always be protected that way from somebody who was legitimately known to be very tough.

Dynamite SLAPPED Jacques with an open hand. Jacques fell over and was fine. Dynamite told him to get up and fight, and when he wouldn't, he taunted Raymond. Dynamite had reason to THINK it was them, and he faced them head on like a man. THEN the weasel cowards went off, TRAINED - yes Raymond trained him for a sucker punch - to sucker punch Dynamite with an object. On top of that, Jacques USED to admit, that Dynamite not only didn't go down, but after being stunned for a few seconds, started spitting out teeth and blood, swearing at them, and then came AT THEM... AND... THEY BOTH RAN AWAY. Jacques said that himself. He said they couldn't believe he didn't go down, because Jacques hit him when he wasn't looking with every bit of his 260lbs. SO YEAH....the Rougeau's are scumbags. Dynamite was a HUGE jerk, but I'll take him any day over these two.

did he put the quarters in between his fingers or in his hand when punchng if so why does that make it so tough?
@mattysquizzato7094
@mattysquizzato7094 9 жыл бұрын
You make a fist around the roll of quarters so it makes your fist harder, and you don't risk breaking fingers, etc. We used to use a lighter when we fought as kids.
@dcavalli9
@dcavalli9 4 жыл бұрын
Do the physics. Your fist will weigh more with a roll or two of quarters, and the punch will unleash more energy on the target (weight times speed). You won't seriously hurt or kill someone if you just throw a bullet at them. But when it's fired from a gun, the bullet's great speed will cause it to pierce human flesh.

Was the Dynamite kid a bully to Jaques? This was all Mr Perfect's fault. According to a few stories, Jaques was a bit of an arrogant prick back in the day. Mr Perfect had been cutting up the Rougeaus clothes when he was supposed to be keeping an eye out for them. Perfect denies it and Jaques and Raymond think it's the Bulldogs. Jaques then goes running to Vince McMahon telling Vince it's the Bulldogs messing with them, I think there is a code that you don't go running to the boss snitching on the boys. Dynamite gave Jaques an openhanded slap. The story according to Dynamite in his book is that Jaques then dives for him, Dynamite gets the better of Jaques in the altercation. Jaques then sucker punches Dynamite with a loaded hand? I think that's cowardly. Dynamite may have been a prick, but at the same time there is a lot of people that respected him. Dan Spivey, Macho Man, Bret Hart, Harley Race, Bad News Brown. As much as I like how Jaques comes across, I think he did a cowardly thing. According to many sources him and his brother ran off as fast as they could once he sucker punched Dynamite.

The only thing that matters at the end of the day is Jacques and Raymond are doing very well in Canada while the bulldogs aren't doing well. For that I laugh.

@@bigdaddy2343 The Bulldogs are dead. So hard for them to be doing anything. No doubt Raymond and Jaques are nicer people. But they were no where near as good as the Bulldogs

@@karlparratt1730 the Rougeau's didn't abuse themselves. When you're a parent like I've become in the last 3 years, you don't do selfish things like the bulldogs did. I'm sure Davey Smith Jr would do anything to have his Dad back. It's hard to feel bad for them. I was on a rollercoaster right to the grave. But as soon as my Son was born my world changed

Shit house trick. Allegedly Mr Perfect cut up the Rougeaus clothes as a prank, told Dynamite that they'd gone snitching to Vince, so Dynamite comes in and slaps, yes, slaps open handed Raymond and asks 'What are you doing snitching to Vince?' and Raymond hasn't a clue what he's on about. There was no need to sucker punch him with a roll of quarters blind siding him. I think from this story there's a lot of opinion and feelings being passed off as facts. If he wanted a fight, he should have offered a straightener in the car park rather than sucker punching him.

These is excludibg a lot of details. DK gave Jacques not Ray, a brutal beating. He did far more than just slap him. They even had an airplane attendant mock him by "congratulating" on his "boxing match"

And just like a lot of bullies who finally get their comeuppance, Dynamite never recovered psychologically. He went home, became a raging alcoholic, abusing his wife, and died broken, destitute and with virtually no friends or family left. Meanwhile, both Jacques and Raymond are alive and well.

I never had any idea! I used to love watching the Bulldogs wrestle, especially Dynamite. The Rougeau's were always on the same cards and I never had an opinion one way or the other. Now? I think the Rougeau's define class and were obviously too good for Vince's Circus.
