I can’t wait for my trip out there at the end of sept. Bringing my lady and camping at hither hills for a week. This will be my first real fishing trip out there in 16 years. I miss it so much. I used to stay on north bar and camp in my jeep sport. Good times 👍

I'm old enough to remember the days when Montauk was under 3 hours from southern Westchester County where I live. Montauk is now easily a 4-5 hour ride except for in the middle of the night. Shame too, because I miss those leave home at 7PM, fish all night, and head home at daybreak, trips. You must live on LI and so you avoid the bridges!

another cool story, thanks for sharing. rewarded w a big tug @ Shinny. yeah the traffic the last few years is crazy. was in front of the mtk light the other day on the boat and was saying... I wonder what it's like to walk and fish on the new rocks oh well, I guess I know now .

Sunday morning 2 a.m. i was trying the right side of the same spot but caught only six sharks with bait and released them ;some with hook some without hook ,nice video man ...

Pauly wish I would’ve known especially since you were alone. My son is the one that lives in the springs I would’ve come up from Pennsylvania if I knew but you made a good choice with the baby and your wife. It is dangerous out there I’m out there quite often Fishing island beach and Seaside Park the first two weeks in September Hope to run into you sometime. God bless you and your family.

The new rocks are a death trap. Even with korkers its hard to land any fish solo. Wish gaffing was legal cause theres some nice fish under the lighthouse
