Is on this Airsoft gun the F in the Pentagon Mark? Im from Germany and i want to buy one myself too, here in Germany Taiwangun is Reasonable for few airsofters and i just wanna know that so that maybe im more safe to buy this gun if you get me here. I think it needs a different wood stain, it looks quite red to me, otherwise lovely gun!

I'm not sure why but all the pictures and videos of it make it seem more orange/red than it is! Though that being said once it gets a bit more beat up I'll probably sand it then restrain/ re-oil it

Wow! That thing has some range! I noticed the thing was starting to drop and i thought it was some inconsistency issue, then your cutaway explained it! I'm not to familiar with the SMLE system, both real and airsoft. Do they have an optic mount? Have you considered getting one for the rifle if they do? I cannot see any BBs after some distance, hence my preference for magnified optics and that setting hops are problematic for me.

50m hits with a sum 1J gun is all good in my book :D The SMLE was never designed with optics in mind, but some optics were hastily added to some during WW1. I'm thinking I won't be adding optics to this one, but may well convert it over to being a psuedo MKV with a aperture sight instead of the leaf sites of the SMLE :)

@@EnglishKiwi Really good for its joule rating. Thanks for the insight on the SMLE! I did a quick Google search and they apparently have a lot of aftermarket optic mounts for the different versions. It looked weird seeing picatinney rails for such an old gun! And the choice not to put options is respectable. Much clearer sight picture anyways!

@@EnglishKiwi P14 mounts seem to work albeit with modification as Dave's Custom Airsoft showrd recently on their website. Of course though mounts are 300 USD on top of ~150-250 USD for a Gunsmith to install. It's definitely an uphill battle compared to other WW2 rifles atm 😅

I'm tempted to see if I can get hold of an s&t zf39 scope and then custom design my own mounts to go onto the lee.

@@EnglishKiwi eh I'm just hoping S&T bother making a sniper version of their mosin they were teasing last year. Assuming the rifle is upgradable those PU scopes are relatively cheap. S&T's enfield unlike their 98K or Springfield though seems like it's the hardest out S&T's Bolt Actions to convert to a sniper atm.
