Came across your videos last month. I love watching them. They have helped me when I’m not having a good day or night. I’m a 70 year old woman who has been battling cancer for the last two years and currently still doing treatments. This week I was asked by my oncologist what I been doing between treatments. I told them I been watching letsdig18. I said I just love watching Chris and his machines because it takes my mind off of my health problems. Chris, keep filming.

That’s very true….. But Robert is also a man of great machine operating skills and abilities. He is a man of few words. But by now, he also knows that I am always willing to shout his corner. The man is a legend….just a simple statement of honest truth and fact. We all love Chris for his abilities and character…. But he’s a limping legend without Robert right there alongside him 👍👍

We usually get us some decent winters here in the middle-part of Sweden (towards the Norwegian border), but this year we've had really mild weather and there's still no snow on the ground. There shouldn't have been anywhere near 6 feet as yet, but a good few feet at least by now... No signs of snow in time cor Christmas either... Keep shoveling it and know there are some people wishing for snow...

Hi Chris, I could watch you push with the D6 all day long. It's so relaxing watching you clean all that wood up and have a neat work area and have it all cleaned up before the rain comes in. You are the best operator I've ever seen. Your work ethics are top notch you can tell your site from anyone else because you keep it all organized by the way you're going to put it in the fire. Keep up the great work, and don't change the way you work. Be safe out there, and God bless you. You are the best at what you do.

Just had a thought, Chris, you should consider adding "wings" to your brush pusher on the D6. Like MBTS made for the skid steer, would stop alot of side loss that you get And you definitely have the power. Even made as a sweeper ( no tines for digging) you could add that extra 3 to 4 feet that your piles usually are.

If you stack your piles like a bell or a tee-pee they will always burn great with little restacking. The more vertical the sides the more dry spots there are for lighting, plus the more vertical and high you can get them the dryer they will be and burn better.

Lotta work to turn that mess into pasture but I guess a few years of running horses on it will build some top soil and turn it into some nice piece of ground that is cleared and kept clear. Just a shame so much of that area was allowed to grow wild for so long. We have the same issues in Missouri where they clear cut long ago, farmed it for a while and then neglected it.

1:50 " ... eighteen degrees today, AKA fourteen (Fahrenheit) "degrees of frost". That's nearly eight Celsius degrees of frost. I remember growing up with the Fahrenheit scale. My dad used to occasionally mention some number of "degrees of frost" on cold days. Then Canada adopted the metric system - with the Celsius scale for temperature. Celsius has one hundred divisions ( a "centigrade" scale) between Ice and Steam (at sea level pressure), spanning the range from 0 to 100. Fahrenheit has 180 divisions between Ice and Steam, spanning the range from 32 to 212. Of course the zero's don't line up, but the minus forty's do. Since 100/180 = 5/9, a change of one Fahrenheit degree represents around half as much change as one Celsius degree. 5/9 x 14 = 7.8 (and we know it's freezing out), so that means the +14*F = --7.8*C, or about "minus eight". btw, 32 (Fahrenheit degrees of frost) x 5/9 = 17.8 (Celsius degrees of frost), meaning 0*F = (about) -18*C
