Thanks to our new friends Aaron and Rach, we now have a new drone! Not only did they insist on gifting it to us, they filled the rest of the shipment with two of our favorite things, coffee and chocolate! 😭😭😭We are so grateful for them and this incredible KZbin community! Thank you❤

Guys, I have to say this is one of the best episodes ... ever! Cappadocia is one of the most beautiful places you’ve been, yet. I’m so glad to tag along with you. Your videos are one of the highlights of my day. Real stuff like rain & getting lost happens to us all and you handle it with a smile and keep your composure always 👍. I’ll be waiting for part two.... And a special goodbye to “Dronie Boy”. Thanks for all the incredible footage you gave us. Will miss you...R.I.P.

Thanks for bringing this memorable part of my 1992 Turkey trip back to life! I love how you guys don’t overproduce your vids. It’s a real-life adventure everytime I watch an episode! Can’t believe how much Cappadocia has changed since my time there. The hot air ballon industry was practically non-existent back then! As a travel blogger who only occasionally adds vlogs to KZbin, I am amazed at Kara’s editing skills too. I know how much time goes into a 5 to 10-minute video and finding MUSIC is a big time suck. Glad you guys love what you do. Keep rockin’ 👍

Hey Kara and Nate, I drowned my brand new 1000$ Mavic just two days after I bought it in May this year. I was angry at myself for committing such a silly mistake and sad for days after that. I cried. Looking at Nate's state of mind and the stages (Anger, Depression, Acceptance), my eyes were wet again. It brought the feelings back. The rawness of the vlog made it more real. Take care you guys! What I loved even more than that was how you both came back, almost immediately, in the vlog. Back to your humour, your smiling faces, your cute selves. Ending the vlog on a cliffhanger- well, I'm glad I'm watching this late so I can jump to the next one immediately. Haha..But before that, I thought this comment was important and ought to be shared with you.

I had a really great visit to Cappadocia a few years ago. It’s easily the most magical place I’ve ever been! The owner of our little family-run hotel took us around and explained that the Rose Valley caves were inhabited until, iirc, 20-30 years ago. They were modern accommodations, just...in caves. It’s where he grew up. But the government decided it wasn’t safe and forced everyone to move out. So a lot of the freestanding homes in Goreme and Aden are pretty new, built to accommodate people who had to move out of caves. The families still own the land where the caves are so they can farm whatever patches of arable land they might have, so there are little scattered plots growing almonds, apricots, etc.

This was my fave episode. Loved the drone crash phases of grief subtitle commentary (you should have more subtitle commentary, they are hilarious and all too infrequent), homeless people encounter, caught in the storm moment. That’s travel. Really drew me in 👍🏽

Seeing a place in the sun is amazing, but there is something that changes when the clouds come and especially in an ancient, rural place like that - it makes it incredible, almost magical. And from my experience, if you can catch a lightning storm from a safe distance over that sort of valley - the imagery is just breathtaking. ;D Love the vlog, makes me want to go there. - Polly

Loved this episode! It was nice to see when things don't go to plan, obviously don't mean the drone crash, that sucked! The best tours are the ones you make yourself and in Cappadocia that is really easy as there are amazing places everywhere! The rain sucked though and you looked to be a long way away from home! Oh no! And seeing Nate go through the stages of grief so quickly lol. Oh also because of you guys I'm addicted to my local empanada food truck and after hating water rides for a very long time finally built the courage to just go for it this summer (your natural waterfall water slide beats all the rides at Splish Splash).
