Rough Day...So Brought out the SABIKI RIG! Fishing in Trinidad
A couple weeks ago, we took a trip out on the Ville-Ans in search of some Carite (Spanish Mackerel)...The week before (without the GoPro) the crew bounced up a school and caught a few. But with the change in the moon, the water was extra dirty and there was no sign of the Carite...
We then headed to river in search of some Tarpon for some catch and release action...But again the water was too dirty in the river...
Nonetheless, I had some fun using the Sabiki Rig to catch a few small fish...While trying to fulfill a request from my uncle...
LD did also manage to pull in a big Flathead Grouper (Crapo fish).
I also got to showcase the wide variety of food we have in our beautiful country of Trinidad and Tobago, with our famous street food DOUBLES for breakfast. Then onto some Hyderabadi Biryani for WIFE TAX!

Hey kos what rod do you have paired with the bg in this video and what length is it?

Bro in this video I had the BG on an old trolling rod...Not the best match up...Just didn't have a good rod for it at the time...So I would not recommend it...I think for a BG 6500/8000 from a boat...A 6ft to 7ft heavy action rod will be best...
