I know several full-time van dwellers that used to spend part of the winter in Leadville! I guess they aren't as friendly towards the van community as they used to be. I hope no one was inconsiderate and gave the full-time respectful people a bad rap. I'll have to ask around. 😊 I've seen a drone with an anti crash feature. It's super compact too so it would fit in a pocket on you or your bike easily! And it wasn't ridiculous expensive!

What a beautiful journey. The sound amazes me, it sounds like you guys are recording this in the studio and then adding the ambient sound from the road and the engines.

Y'all are covering alot of ground! Be sure to enjoy it. Can not imagine standing on bikes as long as yall have. As always Thanks for bringing us along!!!! Oh Dan when do we get to see the footage of the "crashed" GoPro?? Glad you found it!

From all the adventure bike videos the preferred choice is the skydio, amazing drone, pricey but worth it. Take care.

I had the same issue with my similar fuel cap vent. To the best of my knowledge, the 690 fuel system is vented (I think there is even a crazy fuel vapor recovery system)... so no need to vent the fuel cap. I filled the fuel cap vent with epoxy and now I have no issues with leakage and no longer have to deal with any height encumbrances off the fuel cap. Just plug it!

Skydio is awesome. I debated back and forth for my most recent drone. I ended up going with Autel EVO 2 because of better and interchanging cameras. EVO 2 also does a great job of following. However, a buddy of mine got the Skydio and has done some fun motorcycle videos and that drone really tracks him well... P.S. ever thought of displaying your names on screen when your helmet talking? I still haven't figured out whose voice is who... "Wait, who just lost their camera?".. "was that Dan that just wrecked or Peter? ". I wanna know! 😁

You should be sitting most of the time, especially given the relative ease of that terrain.

Just Curious, will you guys ever go on a trip without the family tagging along???
@ryanc55173 жыл бұрын
It looks like they are still “breaking in” their bikes so having a “chase vehicle” for support makes sense. Also, I think Dan is still a minor so he can’t go galavanting around the world without a parent. 🤔

I have to ask, but how did you guys end up with the opportunity to take trips like this?
@wo1fsnipedya4923 жыл бұрын
Love the videos been wanting to get a 690 for myself! Any chance you guys have averaged your fuel mileage from full to empty? Just curious since it just has a fuel light. Seen some stuff on forms but no videos on it. Keep up the great videos!

For adventure riding I have been getting 55-60 mpg and 160-180 miles before the fuel light. No engine or exhaust mods and I am an intermediate rider at a moderate pace.

Roughly the same here. I am always surprised at how much farther I can get even when the light turns on. -Dan

I like the idea that you guys want to go adventure bike traveling. But having a support vehicle team kinda defeats the propose. More like “glamping “

You don’t actually have to write the word “tag” in the title.
@adventureguysofficial3 жыл бұрын
In our case TAG stands for The adventure guys. But now that you mention it I see its a bit confusing.
