Coke bottle is my favorite so far. Love the intern!! Yours looks killer!! The easy open will go down as the gritty knife in this series. Though I did get a good one!! Great looking slip!!

My blackout appaloosa coke bottle had covers like your pile side on both sides and I liked that. I am happy whenever the covers are a similar shade. That's really all I want. Your sides are similar in the shade of the color, so that's nice. My action has improved with use and rinsing

Nice video Randy, before you look for a different pattern check out the short that SMKW put out. The next in the series is a lockback with an easy open! Seems that gaps are common on that EZ open. I had to call SMKW on the one I got ... but the replacement was a lot better.

Yeah, the backside of that knife is pretty awesome! Lol. I kinda like mine. Definitely not worth the anticipation, but an okay knife. I like the senator better. Want to see that long easy-open and the fixed blade. Moderate expectations only!

Hi Randy. Good review. I have a couple of the appaloosa series, and they are completely different regarding the covers. My ex partner loved horses and especially the appaloosa. If you see one in person, the pure bred examples are really spotty. So perhaps Rough Ryder has it correct regarding the pattern. All the best, David ✌️ Ps. I have the coke bottle, and it has blade wrap towards the tip. Hopefully, it will strop out.

Concept art? How long have you waited to get your hands on an easy open? I have an Imperial that dates between 1936 and 55 that has easy open on it. The feature has been around for a long time. Maybe it's just not been on any recent knives idk.
