I wasn't really bothered by the double nail nicks at first but the more Iook the worse they look to me. I love the apolusa bone though

You know, I’m fine with double nicks on a clip point. They tuck into the swedge and I don’t even notice them sometimes. Was surprised to find a couple in my collection! But you do it to a sweet, wide spear blade, and it’s just ugly. This blade is pretty narrow, so it’s less awful than the smaller, wider easy open. Nice series, though.
