I’ve noticed that a lot of the rough Ryders with the 3 digit numbers, have either a nice stronger pull, or has that nice popping snap on the open, where the tension on the back spring was set just right. The newer ones, with the mushy half stops, seem to be lacking in that walk n talk dept. I also like that particular tang stamp, noticed it on a few early split back whittlers I have. The older ones were built incredibly well, but some of the newer ones are as good. The horseshoe tang stamp is sadly missed. Thanks, Joel.
