ROUGH START AND IDLE? | B58 fuel tank breather valve.

I was having an issue when I fill up full tank, my car was stuttering at start up. It was getting worse and worse every time. I replaced the fuel tank breather valve and it solved the problem.

I have x3 g01 m40i 2018 with the fabulous B58, i guess that i had trouble with this common valve... Let me tell you symptômes Fuel tank with E5 less power... Accélération gently... Small jerk... Kickdown or anything else... No way impossible ... Big jerk motor light on the board and run with 4 or 3 cylinders. With the half of tank the car run better, no jerk you can enjoy the power as you want. I begin to check the LPHP... When i put out the big blue hose on the cover of the pump.. To much pressure was going out... Approx 15cl of petrol... Normally petrol doesn't going out like this... Two tears and finish... So it's mean air was hold inside the hose... I put everything back and make some test and car run now perfectly. So it's also mean that this part can make other failure.

This is very common on B58 and B46/48 engines. I had this replaced on both my X1 and 440. Check engine light on my X1 and stuttering issues after fueling on the 440. Replace the vent line as well if you can.

Yup that same shii happening to my m340i ty for this video. Every time i fill up gas it rough starts and shuts off, I have to try 4 times starting it for car to stay on.

Same on mines lol right after I got it tuned to stage 2 it happened after fueling up now I’m stage 2 + new sparks and everything still does it ima just buy this and do the job myself lol thank you
