i for sure wanna see more of these (if you want to ofc). The detail in the drawing is crazzzzy and the direction you took was super unique to me. I'd call this piece "freaky ah frog"🤣

Ah dude thanks Nova! Means a lot fr 🤝🏼 And by the looks of it, people seem to also want more of these so we might have to give the people what they want lol. And I think “Freaky ah Frog” is PERFECT😂

duuuude this is seriously such a good drawing, 10/10 ‼ alright here's where my creative writing degree comes in... * "the experiment" - by riah :p tad was hopping around the perimeter of the murky pond, scanning the ground for particularly juicy mealworms. it was a stormy day, the sound of thunder echoing across the landscape as droplets of water cascaded down from the skies. to some, it might have been frightening but it was perfect to tad, creating the immaculate ambiance in his otherwise dull life. he wasn't sure when the dreams had started. perhaps it was when he was but a young tadpole, swimming to the edge of the pond to view life beyond his aqueous confines. it was dangerous, they had said, to venture too far from it. nobody knew what lay beyond. but tad still couldn't help wondering, allowing his mind to drift into the far-off places he could never reach. when tad matured, he still had that small desire to explore in the back corner of his mind, but the words of his peers deterred him. tad came to a stop in front of the pond, peering into it. his reflection looked back up at him, his eyes darkened with boredom. was this all there was to life? to eat, sleep, and mate? tad had briefly heard whispers of a different kind of creature, ones that spread across the earth like wildfire. humans. tad had never met one before, and quite frankly was not entirely convinced they actually existed. after all, if there were so many of them, he surely would have seen one by now, right? he had been alive for many moons, longer than some others in his neighborhood. if anyone were to see a human, it would be him. thud. thud. thud. tad pulled himself out of his reverie, jumping around to see what could be causing such a commotion. thud. thud. thud. the ground shook with each noise, and tad noticed how they were getting closer and closer. he quickly dove behind a rock, making himself as small as he could behind it. then that's when he saw them. two giants towered above him, sounds emitting from each of them which seemed to be a language that tad could not understand. this must have been them. humans. tad let out a croak, a mixture of fear and wonder. he didn't know that humans would be so large, so intimidating. were they friends or foes? tad had his fair share of run-ins with predators, having narrowly escaped a hawk once. he did not particularly like the idea of having to come face-to-face with yet another creature that wanted to have him for dinner. he let out another involuntary croak at this thought, louder than the last. the humans moved, turning in his direction. then one bent down, making direct eye contact with tad, assuming that's what they were. tad froze, not daring to let out a single breath for fear of the human realizing he was alive. despite his efforts, a weight went around tad's body, and he was brought up, up into the sky. was he flying? no. tad felt the weight around him, trying to wiggle free. but the weight only increased, causing him to let out another croak. he had been grabbed. and he was almost certain he was going to die. upon this realization, tad let out a serious of frantic croaks but of course, it was no use. even if his family had heard, they would not dare come anywhere near these beasts, lest they wished to receive the same fate as him. tad was then falling, landing on the ground with a thump. he began to feel joyous, thinking the humans had spared him. but then when he hopped forward, he smacked into an invisible barrier. he looked down in confusion, noticing how he was still in the air. he was moving, but not by his own will. the humans were carrying him off, away from his home. the next moments were a blur, the fear having overtaken the poor frog's mind, heart, and soul. he came upon a large metal beast, being placed inside of it by the humans. then tad was being taken out and carried once more. the next time he was set down, there was a small crowd of humans in front of him. just as he was about to start croaking in distress, having regained his senses, a rather large mealworm was placed right in front of him. a peace offering. the humans were trying to befriend him. but why bring him to an unknown place, surrounded by absence of color? but tad didn't dwell too long on this, his stomach giving him a friendly reminder that he had only eaten two small minnows that day. he immediately shot out his tongue, grappling onto the mealworm and pulling it towards him. within seconds, the mealworm was gone, and tad felt satisfied, his stomach feeling fuller than before. there was an uncomfortable silence as the humans stared at him, seeming to be waiting for something. should he have given them a gift? tad didn't really have the chance to grab something before being snatched up. surely, they'd understand. but then tad's stomach began feeling like it was on fire. he squeezed his eyes shut, trying to will the pain to subside, but it only increased. oh god, what had they fed him? was he poisoned? he opened his eyes again upon feeling something shooting out of his body. he tried to turn around to look, but he ended up falling on his face. only then did he notice the arachnid legs that were sprouting out of him. tad wanted to scream, wanted to thrash around, wanted to do SOMETHING, but then two baby frogs were placed in front of him. tad's stomach rumbled like never before as he towered over the unsuspecting frogs. no. no, this was wrong. these creatures weren't food, they were his brethren. and yet... before he knew it, the frogs were out of tad's field of vision. he felt something writhing in his mouth, and he wondered when he was fed another mealworm. but then out of the corner of his eye, tad caught movement. he turned towards it, taking in the image before him. a horizontal panel showed his reflection like his pond back home. except what was in it was something he was not expecting. his tongue lolled out of his mouth as two baby frogs were hanging out of his mouth, now limp. tad's eyes widened, taking in his appearance. he looked completely different, something out of nightmares. as he stood there staring at himself, with the humans ominously towering over him, tad could only think one thing. they were right. * sorry this was so long 😭 i really got into it :p
