I have been working so hard for something academically and I finally got it today and I felt so relaxed but also super numb and lost that I couldn't know what to do. I just searched for "cozy draw with me" and watched this and it was super relieving! I didn't have the power to sketch anything so I just sit back and watched & listened to you but it was indeed cozy & relaxing & friendly! Instant subscription from me! Wow, right off the bat, you set such a cozy, relaxing mood for this. Your voice is so soothing, this makes me wish I did have a friend like you to draw along with. I've loved art since I was little, pretty much as soon as I started playing the old Nintendo 64 with my sister and started looking at the official artwork in the instruction manuals for Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time, that was when I first discovered my interest in drawing, recently, though, I don't feel the same passion for art, I'm just afraid that my art isn't good enough or that I won't be able to improve. I really hope I'm able to love it again soon, your work looks amazing, the sketches themselves are beautiful, but then the way you're able to pull off that beautiful dynamic blending with markers is incredible, thanks so much for making this!

I do still love art, I just need to get over this stupid fear of failing, and being daunted by how much there is to learn, it should be something I do just out of pure enjoyment, not because it feels like a chore, and I guess I'll naturally see improvement over time if I'm willing to commit to it, study different techniques and work hard at it, snd I fuess having fun is the main drive for that. I'm sure you've had your own struggles over the years, it's inspiring to see how you've clearly overcome them and gotten to this point. You're so welcome, I'm really glad I found your channel.

tombow abt water-based markers, meiliang pretty excellent watercolors, faber-castell graphite pencils, prismacolor col-erase pencils, posca paint markers, sakura pigma microns, and ohuhu alcohol markers were all used on this spread!

oh yeah haha that was the suica card i was talking about! it's a type of IC card in japan where you can load money then use it to pay for the train, at vending machines, convenience stores, etc
