How is the image quality so bad even when you crank up the KZbin setting to 1080p60?? Looks like 480p through and through

This is LIVE footage (Highlighst from the Live broadcast), not post-produced video material (that's on Jomez). The cameras send a live feed over a mobile network to a control center. This is where the picture quality suffers. DGN don't have same kind of money like big TV companies that can use satellite link systems etc. I think the quality is pretty good considering the limitations this technology has. If you would make a video call (also uses the same mobile networks) from the same spots where these cameras sometimes are, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have a picture at all or maybe just something blurry. People are always just complaining without realising what DGN are actually accomplishing despite the limitations of the technology they are forced to use. If people would take a second to just think about the total mess of the Big Money Skins live broadcast, no-one would be complaining about the picture quality here, but would be clad that there is this kind of Live broadcast available to us at all.

All of that would be fine and dandy except the live broadcast actually had a decent image quality. This video even has blurry bits on the overlay sections such as the players' names and scores.

I think it is the combination of Live footage + KZbin compression (etc.). If it is something DGN can improve on I hope they see these comments.

Google pdga and you can see all the scores yourself in about 10 seconds. That’ll save you the hassle of having to rely on someone else for those things and also keep you from making incredibly stupid comments!
