BACK FOR MORE! This Camaro SS came back for the third time to get more power out of their 416 / D1X setup, we switched out his GPI Cam for a Custom Spec'd Cam Motion Camshaft, upgraded the fueling system to run E85, and turned it up!
Round 3 Result: 919whp / 745 ft.lbs
(Estimated 1,081 HP at the crankshaft with a 15% drivetrain loss factor)

Expect to pay the cost of a 2nd hand 20161ss with roughly 50k miles for this set up. But for more than double the power for the price of two cars are you really coming up short?

There were certainly cheaper ways to build this than the path I took. I had 0 intentions of ever boosting the car when I initially brought it in for a cam job. One thing lead to another and now I’m here lol. Definitely sit down and think about what you want to do and what ur goals are so you don’t have to put a cam in twice lol. Also since it’s not mentioned, this is a low compression and ported heads setup. I think it’s at 13lbs of boost as it sits, but it might be 14. I honestly can’t remember. Drives incredibly smooth and well mannered considering what all is done to it.

@@Sickguitarist123 a phenomenal car you have. I’m getting a 17/18 1le soon and my only real goals for it are rotofab, ported 95 and lt2 and maybe headers. Just the basic bolt on gotos I wanna make 450 wheel that’s it

@@JosephNnbs that’s what I had initially when I brought the car in and e85. Definitely definitely do E85. That’s the most power you can pick up mod for mod short of a cam. Guaranteed 25 to 35whp on these cars with just that alone. You WILL notice the difference too.
