Round Baler Bearing

Today we repair a New Idea 484 round baler. One of the bearings went bad on a roll and thankfully its a easy fix. Thanks for watching.

How would suggest diagnosing a bearing that’s starting to fail. I can hear it when the bale chamber is full but, can’t pin point which bearing it is. Of course it’s quite with no bale in it. Any thoughts? Thanks.

You could loosen the tensioner rolls and try to either spin the rollers to see if they spin freely without binding or try to see if they wiggle on the ends where the bearings are to see if the bearings are starting to loosen. Hope you can find the bad one.
