Phil, just a gesture of thanks for all of the videos you have published. I got into turning almost 4 years ago and have watched all of your videos. Every Thursday is a treat because it's Phil Anderson night. I appreciate the artistry and the approach you take to turning pieces that many others would pass by. Thanks so much.

I am the same way. I watch a couple of Phil's videos. Then started turning 2 years ago. I also watch every video he has and learned a lot from his videos. So from time to time I will send Phil pics of my pieces. Have had a few great comments from Phil on how I used certain things a certain way. Soon I'll get Phil some wood I have for him to turn.

It may be just the way the light hit the under side of the wood, but it almost looked like the grain and the rays go out in all directions from the center. Really different and very pretty!
