It was great seeing the water flow coming out of the outlets from the GoPro,👍

Looks like you could cut the length of your rudder by 3/4" to improve top end and shouldn't hurt your turning. Any rudder you should round the bottom end from side to side. Keeps the blade from being another running surface. Front to back some wouldn't hurt. Good video!!

A couple guys in my club told me that flattening/blueprinting out the dihedral on the vortex sponsons may calm down the cha cha. But they also told me not to remove the angle of attack.
Might get to 50 this weekend beats the 20s 30s burrr on the cold shores of lake erie.

Could you do a m545 and x series comparison on this hydro? Then vs the same diameter or pitch ABC?

I wonder if the GoPro acts as a mid wing keeping the boat lower with downforce?

Definitely adds unwanted/ unneeded areo drag

Would you consider these big props for the hydro? Struggling to tune a UL19 on 40mm 1700kv motor. 4614 lifting prop feels kinda slow but still chews the batteries down. Wondering if i just chose a poor motor for it. BG4L!

These props are moderate in size for this particular hull size and setup, I normally run a 45 1.6 or 48 1.6 abc prop

Big B have you done any testing on running batteries in series vs parallel ?
@VetteWay2Fast12 күн бұрын
There is a big difference with series and parallel. Series will combine the voltage going into the esc, so twin 3s packs will send 6s to the esc. Twin 3s packs in parallel will only send 3s to the esc which will be much slower, however, have double the run time.
