Round Pole Timber Framing part 1 - aligning your beam for a bent

Here we work with the oldest style of timber framing, round pole timber framing. A bent consists of vertical columns and a horizontal beam. Rafters, joists, and horizontal members can rest across multiple bents to create an entire structure out of whole trees.
In the next video we will connect the vertical columns to the beam and raise up the entire bent.
