A few weeks after Tedashii released Below Paradise, my cousin shot his step son,his wife and ended his own life. It was so painful not for me only but for my family as a whole. And seeing my family hurt would break me into pieces. I would play Tedashii's album over and over again. And his pain became my strength in days I couldn't continue to live. I will forever bless God for the 116 family,for being honest and real. Love from South Africa

Trauma and death is extremely heavy and hard. If your breathing you have faced some kind of trauma in this life. Counseling and community prayer is so vital for the soul. The pain of trauma cuts deep this I understand very well. The process is truly long and hard but as you surrender to God healing takes place. I agree with the daily choice of choosing Jesus and speaking out loud scriptures and pushing all the wounds to the cross daily. It's huge when you increase prayer and share your pain in a trusted Godly environment. God will break all the walls we have and more!! He's powerful and will fight every battle we face. In my opinion, all men are faced with so much pressure whatever work status they have. Also, I love how they said people don't get "over" death which is true my pastor once said to me the first year i lost a loved one. I went through living waters program through a church in my state. Living Waters program is nation wide hosted by churches and they shared about being wounded-healers and also healed ones. Its Pretty amazing how non-manufactored community counseling is. I am skeptical about what meditation they have all shared about.

Man don't know where to start but all I can say that the Holy Spirit was in that room speaking through each and everyone of you all. All of you were on point, The realness of the conversations you guys were hitting the target of what the struggle is and to help people to persevere throughout the tough times in life,when you did want to give up, and when you did at one point blame God. The truth of it all is God's perfect plan is manifesting. I'm part of a Ministry is healing and deliverance and our foundation is power of Prayer Changes Things We have a 72-hour watch a prayer that we do quarterly . I remember I was praying 4 Tedashii Lecrae and other Christian artists that God put on my spirit to not knowing why but after I heard your testimony all I can say is wow look at God. Even though we feel at one point where alone God always have someone els interceding for you. I will be keeping you and your family up in prayer and I will most definitely continue to write each and every one of you guys in my prayer book love you guys and God bless.

This is so powerful! So few people really let someone in that can not only hold them accountable, but who can actually knock/shock some sense into them and be completely real. Having someone that can speak into your life that way I can literally save your life. I’m so glad that they’re telling these real stories so we can grow from it too
@MrsJB3155 жыл бұрын
I’m glad they were open and it was kind of them to do this. It was a joy and gift to listen to their hearts. However, I’m longing for Christians to use the word of God more to counsel themselves and one another. We must remember that the “tool(s)” is the word of God. The word of God is live and active! We must counsel one another by way of sharpening, admonishing, encouraging and building one another by reminding one another of what is true- which can only be found in the Holy Scriptures. Whenever Satan tempted Jesus He responded back with the word of God. We must not forgot this simple truth. Psalms 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life. The Psalms particularly speak to many of the things they mentioned. I love Christ’s church. We are His and He ours. The word is medicine to the soul. Even more than that-our God comforts. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 God of All Comfort Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. Might we remember these truths, saints. Lastly I think any counseling, medicine or anything of the sort should done under the shepherding of your local church elders. We must be sure to guard our selves from making these decisions without godly wisdom, counsel and again shepherding by those we should be submitting to and have to give an account for our souls. May we all clothe ourselves in humility for God’s glory.

Thank you so much Tedashii for opening up and having this conversation! Man, its good to know somone else out there gets it! I dont know if you'll ever read this message but thank you for those words, especially at the end. Being a mom, and taking on the new challenges as my kids grow and trying to provide them the life I dreamed of is not easy. Yes, we keep God in the center, but we've also seen so much chaos and its difficult as I contemplate on tough decisions. I need to see my counselor more for sure, at least until I can integrate with that community I need. I felt what you said earlier on carrying the load in the conversation, and not being able to fully talk about your issues because you being strong for others. People see the positive attitude, gravitate to it and then next thing ya know you're soaking up issues of others when you already going through what you got going on... Another thing about me is that I rather not dim the room with my burdens, so I dont talk about my issues much unless its through prayer, writing in my journal or creating lyrics. We are taught to hold it in. Thanks brother, may God bless you! ❤

This is so amazing & I think more people need to have more knowledge about getting help. We all go through things. I first sought therapy last year when I "died." My spirit has since then been renewed and although everyday is still work I have never been happier, more full, and powerful. I feel like I now have a voice. Focus on you. I had someone constantly bringing me down and putting me down who was the real damaging reason. So if you are someone who is telling someone to they need helponly to be mean; it is you that should seek help because that negative spirit you carry around is damaging to other people.
