I love this movie just as much as the next guy. But the calling the J on the turn "lucky" was kinda silly. I'm guessing John probably had pocket 9's which would give Matt D the flush draw with two overcards to the turn. Basically putting him at 30% chance of hitting the turn and 60% if taken to the river. Safe to say with the stack that John had left you might as well of put John all in on the flop because you can't fold at those pot odds even if that J doesn't come up... Not LUCK.. Just poker. Play on!

LOL at "he's representing Aces" just because he throws in a 3bet. Also, if you're short-stacked enough to 4bet shove, then there's nothing wrong with flatting the 3bet and letting the loose-agressive player bluff away his chips postflop.

If I was Damon I would have smooth called the re-raise preflop because I have position. Then hoping the flop had no ace, shove to his flop bet. Make more money. Maybe even get a call from a lesser pair, depending on the board.
