While geopolitical tensions are on the rise, major powers are engaging in nuclear and conventional arms races. The existing arms control and disarmament architecture is under great stress. What should Canada be doing to support cooperative rather than confrontational approaches to international security?
Join three former diplomats Peggy Mason, Marius Grinius, and Paul Meyer with extensive experience in the arms control and disarmament field to discuss the key challenges and opportunities Canada faces today and in the future. This event will be moderated by world-renowned Canadian journalist Michael Petrou, professor in the Department of History at the University of Ottawa and Editor-in-Chief for Open Canada. Dr. Hamid Jorjani, Chair of the Middle East Study Group and Board Member at the CIC National Capital Branch will deliver the opening and closing remarks.
