Route 106 and 191 destination options with Arriva

Well Street is only about one stop north of Ash Grove, Peter. Before Ash Grove garage was built, the old Hackney garage was in Well Street, close to the junction with Mare Street; I think on the site now occupied by Lidl. The 106 then ran out of Hackney garage, so that destination on your blind might be a throw back; it makes no sense now.

Yes, but these are just the curtailment points or destination options if the bus gets turned short.

@@GuyArab We have no control over the individual bus stop announcements, all we can do is program in the final destination, whether that's the full route or a short working.

BristolRE Dearsley Road is that road that leads down to B&Q and there's a bus stand there. Although mostly used for lorries and cars to park.

So the ex 106 DWs that are now on the 191 still have 106 and the blinds for the 191 were just inserted into the blind set that had the 106 I see.

No, a whole new set of blinds as the Enfield routes are on here as well. The 106 was included on the new blind set as the buses still had a few more weeks left to work the 106

The Scania L94 and L113 single decks we had at Ipswich are by far the best modern day bus to drive. Older buses the Bristol VR is the best I've driven in service.

It's difficult to do, need somewhere to private as my phone/camera would need to be left unattended outside whilst I operated the controls inside.

@ldnz460 Not sure about that, only the 106 DWs have been fitted with blinds for the 191 as far as I know. The 191 currently uses 18 buses in it's peak, and the 106 14 buses, so we need 18 buses. We've already had 4 'floaters' so just need 14 more buses, and these can all come from the 106. Will have to wait and see exactly what happens.

Yeah, seems like the 230 DWs haven’t yet transferred to Enfield- 41 and 123 are using them right now. If they don’t end up going to Enfield garage, hopefully TH could get some DWs. Would be nice for them not to have an ADL product- preferably for the 198- it would be nice to hear the DWs squealing down Addiscombe Road and Wickham Road
