There was a Burma-Shave on the road to my Grandma's lakeside cabin where we stayed for a week every summer, that had that same "My job is keeping faces clean" poem.

I visited Seligman in 2012. Stayed at the wonderful ROUTE 66 motel next to the Roadkill Cafe where we ate. My buddy (RIP Wayne Manuel) and I ended up a "locals" bar partying with two Japanese tourists. Seligman to me was the HIGHLIGHT of my ROUTE 66 trip. THANKS Jordan.

Another nice but windy day. I'm sure Scott is have a good time. He's just a quiet person from what I've seen of him. That chili dog looked good. I'll miss all these travels when they're over. Thanks for the wonderful trip. Take care and see you and Scott tomorrow.

You need to stop by Oatman, AZ. It's reminiscent of an 1880's Western Saloon town. Donkeys walking the streets. The best parts of Rt66 are in Arizona. I did this trip 3 years ago..

13:11 Has an Elvis connection. When Elvis' popularity encapsulated the world in the 1950s, Other countries insisted on having their own "Elvis" equivalent. Italy had Antonio Ciacci; Russia had Dean Reed or the "Red Elvis." The Kremlin picked him out, fearing the real Elvis would cause Russian teenagers to overthrow the government; and Johnny Hallyday was christened the "French Elvis." I read somewhere that there was an Irish Elvis that burst on the scene in the late 50s, but I can't remember his name.

Good on you Jordan, the Oatman Hotel tells a few whoppers to the tourists, the room looks way different than when I saw it in the 60’s. It’s been touristed up unfortunately. You are right too - neither dress they display was the wedding dress!

I have a thing when I'm on vacation that I have to buy a shirt and a shot glass. Hopefully next year, we'll be going west and see some of this on the way back from California, unless we go to the New England area. Didn't Angel die recently? I've watched Justin Scarred go there a couple times and speak to him. He was a local legend.
