This two day Route 66 road trip gave us a lot of content. Crazy part was this was part of our 8 day road trip to Alabama to see my sister. It's not official unless you start right by the sign. Love these stops. We plan to do the entire route 66 when we retire. It's so cool that your dad took you all the way to California. So much to see on this leg of route 66. I love Superman too and that stop would be fun. Glad they let you out of that cell. A Muffler Man in your backyard would be a lot of fun. Hope your neighbors have a sense of humor. Do you think you'll take the fam all the way to Cali one of these days?

We had to drive 1 hour the opposite direction to get to the official start sign. Route 66 - Chicago to St. Louis was a manageable trip. What would take us 5-6 hours took us 14-16 hours because we stopped at so many places. Our family barely made it through this 2 day trip. But we'll probably do it by certain legs. The 2 girls we met took 2 weeks off and they did the whole trip. It was fun doing it as a kid with my parents.

Oh I miss that park!! Blues Brothers car on a stick? Yaaaasssss!!! Wait…you drive the whole thing as a kid? Now you have the fit with the hat. Someplace or another!!! Oh, memories of the Arch when we went on our first Brewers road trip. Just nuts. You have fans!!!! SSBF!!! Ted Drewes is so ridiculously good. But Kopps in Milwaukee is better.

Never heard of Kopps, so I'll have to add that to the list. Still waiting for my bobble head to go to the Bobble Head Hall of Fame. I'll make sure to take a Kopps stop.

I always joke that my hat is my disguise for when our channel blows up and become famous 😂 I just walked there during lunch. I figured this way I would not have to stop there since we had a long trip. Glad we did because it was pouring on this drive.

I heard the Lauternach Tire Guys head blew off because of a tornado 🌪 Yo Route 66 goes all the way to Cali? I had to Google it and yes it’s 2500 miles long omg 😱 Yo dude this is got to be your longest video ever. Wonder how much raw footage u had originally my man! Dang! My guess? 2 hrs? Nice new hat 🧢 bud! I love the little vignettes of u being silly 😜 Carl has relinquished the camera the most on this video! Maybe cus you’re doing all the driving. I honestly can say I never had a corn dog ever…..

That is true, glad they got his head back. We are in Alabama right now and the main attraction here Lady in The Water was destroyed by a tornado. The artist is building 2 new ones, just in case something happens again. It took us about 14 hours to get through IL, we would never make it to CA in that rate. you are right. I had 2 hours and 45 minutes of footage to go through. I was going to make videos in each area but I had a bunch of folks asking about all my stops. So I decided to show all 17 in 1 video and then later do shorter and more in-depth video in each one. Thanks for joining us on our adventures. And as you can see, I'm playing around with different formats.

We took 2 days. But since we stopped at so many places it took us 14 hours to get from Chicago to Litchfield, IL. You can do it in one day if you just stop in a few places. But if you truly want to enjoy the trip and make the best of it, split it to 2 days and stop at Springfield. Springfield also has so many things to do. Any other questions, please let us know.
