As always, a fantastic vlog. Thanks Simon. I would definitely have done the rollercoaster, but my wife definitely wouldn't. I've got a great chest mount for my GoPro that would definitely allow filming of the whole ride. We can't wait to see the full t-shirt haul that you promised for the final episode. My wife and I are so enjoying joining you on your journey. We don't want it to end, but when it does we'll start binge watching your previous road trip.

I've been back to Seligman since doing R66 from Vegas as its quite a nice day trip and mainly cos I like a diner in Kingman. Although I'm getting nervous at what point you're gonna turn off for Vegas though🤦‍♂️😂😂. Great trip mate.

Loved that little town and the barber shop. Too bad the cafe wasn't too good and the hospitality not great. You'd think that they would be even more personable to their patrons since it likely lives off of tourists. I'm glad you're taking it easy for a couple of days. You need it my friend 🤗. Ohhh...and I didn't know you play the piano 🎹. Nice 😉

Keep it nice and chill, Simon. But taking the time to walk and spend a bit around this historic town was great. And how touching to know a man responsible for restoring and rejuvenating a section of Route 66 and even giving haircuts and Burma Shave is still alive and active at 97 years old - a wonderful testament for keeping this landmark highway alive and for those of us who enjoy a bit of the good old days. A side note, Simon. My family owned and I managed a small Frosty Boy ice cream stand in our town for 20 years before selling it in 2001 - so please, for me, make it to that Frozen Ice stand tomorrow! And I'll see you in the morning, mate!

Hello Simon, Jo and Paul here. Your English buddies living our best life in Gold Coast, Australia. Absolutely loving the Route 66 series. We've tuned in every night on our TV (hence the lack of comments hahaha). We visited Seligman in February 2014. Angel was still working and we had the honour and privilege of having a coffee with him. We were on a tour from Vegas to Grand Canyon. Meeting Angel was a big highlight. We are passing through Flagstaff next week en route to Williams for the night Simon. I’m having the ribs from Cruisers cafe and we are both doing the coaster too. The gun range is right next door to Cruisers and might expend a few rounds and dollars there. You are passing by 80 miles from us when you go through Barstow. We are leaving Palm Springs next Sunday heading to Vegas for the night before our 4 day tour of Kanab, Monument Valley and Williams. Then onto Vegas for 4 days - it’s a shame we missed you, so near but yet so far. Stay safe of those roads mucker 🙏

The Mother Town on the Mother Road. California might be the least interesting part of Route 66 if you like vintage stuff or sleepy little towns that are still breathing.
