Loved the burros, especially the one kicking the door in of the diner and those wide open road to nowhere shots in Arizona, reminded me of the road out to Rachel in Nevada. That ice cream must have been extra satisfying. You mentioned how you feel the commenters are your friends. Congratulations, Simon!! Quite the accomplishment. I must say, I have followed you in almost real time. I looked forward to your blog every day and have enjoyed every video in this series. I have traveled that route many times, but, admittedly, on the freeway, except when I was a young boy. I enjoyed seeing and hearing your comments and delights in the discovery of the old iconic places and features, as well as your new discoveries. I learned a lot that I never knew and have made note to revisit some of the spots you pointed out and highlighted on this journey. Safe travels as you continue your journeys. There are many more wonderful drives in this vast country. It is truly amazing how vast and varied the country is. You can see swamps, deserts, mountains, canyons, forests, massive lakes, oceans, and tropical rainforests. There are many beautiful national and state parks that await discovery. Best of luck in Vegas and looking forward to accompanying you on future trips! Again, safe travels!!

Wow well done on finishing route 66. what a drive through La I stayed on sunset Blvd wen we were there right next door to a in and out burger🍔 it wasn't to sketchy .I will be here for the last few days in Vegas . good luck hope you get a hand pay to cover all costs 😂😂
