Good Job Tulsa on keeping 66 alive! It's important for our kids and grandkids to see history no matter what it is. We all need to support keeping history alive for the future! Loved the blue whale and that giant soda pop bottle. I bet it is beautiful at night. I always thought that all of 66 was on the lines of the way Tulsa portrayed 66. But so far Tulsa is the best.

Good Morning I love getting to see the sites along the way.When you guys get old and grey many, many years from now you'll have such good memories. When I first got married my mom said travel while your young and feel like it. She was right as life goes on and aches and pains start your glad you did do all that when you felt goid. You 2 are very blessed and very smart. You get to see all kinds fun stuff and make a living doing it. Also provide a service to your watchers we see things that we normally might not get the chance. Another great video. The blue whale 🐋🐳was really cool to see. The route 66 bowling alley was really neat. That place looked really fun. Meeting the real Sally personality was a neat experience. When I was about 12 we went to Topeka, KS to see my uncle and we passed this huge ball of twine. Between it, all the neon signs on everything it was a magical trip so I can only imagine the magic your reliving on this trip! Loving your journey videos! Can’t wait for each installment! I grew up watching Roy Rogers, he was definitely one of my heroes, and he was a great Christian man , and his wife was to, that bought back memories. Dawn really nice hamburger 🍔 u had, wills mashed potatoes 🥔 made me hungry lol 😂. That was a really cool barn, I’ve never seen one like it. Will and Dawn this is a awesome trip, from Kentucky 😀

Hi Will & Dawn.. I loved the Blue Whale the 70something foot oiler..that has to be the biggest t-shirt ever(how bout it Chris & Mindy 😁)..The Restaurant was so cool..friendly people and looked very clean the food looked good!!! All those tall structures and neon signs caught the attention of passing motorists who had never seen such things. I remember being a small boy and being mesmorized by anything that was lit with colored lights - because as a child of the 50's I had never experienced the sight. Your trip illustrates how neat it would have been to travel this highway in its' heyday. I bet you're tired!!

I am glad you stopped at Will Rogers Memorial and glad you are planning to stop there on the way home. That would have probably been high on the list for your Father to see. Will, you may come as close as anyone today to being able to say "I never met a man I didn't like." Even Will Rogers would have trouble saying that today :-)

Hope you enjoyed Oklahoma! You were about 20-25 mins from me. Someone probably already answered but the electricity to the blue whale was for Christmas lights. Santa would come out and take pictures. Not sure due to crazy times if that is still happening. I’m glad they did a fundraiser and restored the blue whale. It was in bad shape after owners both passed. If you ever come back to OKlahoma you should go to the Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Prairie Preserve, near the Will Rogers Memorial. It’s amazing!

I would like to thank you for all the memories that I used to see when I was a child we would take 66 from California to Michigan from where I was from as a baby the time change is pretty weird though from going from Tennessee to California that really makes you tired I hope you're having a fantastic time on the Route 66 I'm glad I get to see a lot of this old-time stuff I remember it and may God look after you both

When I look at those neon signs I remember when we traveled which was not often the neon lights seemed so neat.Also when I'd see air conditioning I thought oh how fancy. It would have been back in the 60's when most everyone didn't have air conditioning. Dawn has the sweetest smile.

Here is you a fun fact...as someone who grew up with relatives who had outhouses when I was small...normally an outhouse that was small and seating for 1 was called a privy as well. You were considered a family of means if you had a outhouse with seating for 2 or 3. They were also called 1 holers or 2 holers depending .
