OMSI 2 - Tatra KT4D

The Tatra KT4 (Kloubová Tramvaj = articulated tram) series is a four-axle articulated tramcar developed by the Czech firm ČKD Tatra. The first pre-production vehicles entered service in Potsdam in 1975, followed by the first production vehicles in 1977. The production was halted in 1991 but was briefly resumed in 1997. A total of 1747 units were built, with initial deliveries to East Germany and later to the USSR and SFR Yugoslavia.
Variants available in game: KT4D, KT4Dt, KT4Dtm
Additional DLCs are not required for using the tram, though the NF6D is needed for some sounds.
Startup:
• Roll back to OMSI version 2.2.032 using the Patch Changer.
• Once inside the cab, press M two times. First is for the main switch, second is for the panthograph.
• Press and hold E for about 4 seconds. You'll hear when it's ready.
• Set the reverser to forward (D) or backwards (R).
• Control the throttle and brakes with 8 and 2. Optionally you can use mouse control (O) or the pedals on your steering wheel.
Don't forget to read the manual.

I just want to say I love trams. These tatra trams may be old but they are still in great condition I know because I ride on them a lot and I hardly ever see them braking down. I think that if they keep up the good work these trams will be in service for a long time to come even tho they aren't being produced any more. I am hoping to become a tram driver one day and I might drive one of these trams. Where I live we also have a tour tram and it's a tatra tram and it's really clean and well maintained and it provides a very smooth ride however there is a problem the tracks here aren't maintained that well(some of them anyway) the tracks that pass through the street I live in were repaired not to long ago so the rides on them are smooth but the tracks where routes 2,5 and 10 run aren't maintained so the rides on them are bumpy and it's really sad that people blame the "old" trams for it even tho it's the tracks witch are the problem because when I ride on a tatra tram on well maintained tracks I have a very smooth and comfortable ride. I know I will be a great tram driver one day but I don't think even I could provide a smooth ride on those tracks unless they are repaired anyway that's all I wanted to say and I'm so sorry for wasting your time.

We have some of these trains on our roads (Belgrade, RS), too. Although most of them were produced in '80s, they are still in good condition and maintenance is at a decent level.

Fun Fact: Tatra KT4YU Continued it's production 'till 1997, and the last trams delivered to Belgrade, have the IGBT Modules. while in 1983, The Motors got the addition of the Thyristor Control Type TV3 During the production

Hát én beszarok... Ilyen villamosok járnak nálunk is (persze Németországból importált, használtak)! Csak mondjuk a festés belül totál lekopott, az ajtók háromszor gyorsabban csukódnak be és a sínek közötti réseket is hallod rendesen, amikor átmész rajtuk. Amúgy jó lett!

It's not up to me, I'm just a tester, I'm not involved in the development, but I want it to be released as much as you do, it's taking awkwardly long now. As far as I see there are just a few buttons missing on the dashboard and some minor adjustments left here and there, and then it's done. But since the author has started working full time, he has less time to spend in OMSI. I hope it will be finished soon™.

Push 2 times M and than some second E until you hear a Ibis-Sound. Now select your direction (most likely forward so D) and have fun. That's what a Readme is all about.
