I have a doubt.can u tell me the ansr pls.my question is Why does a Router, despite being a Layer 3 device, changes the Link Layer Address (both Source and Destination) of the Packet, when it forwards the packet from one of its interfaces to the other? I'm waiting for your kindly rly?

One doubt, I was to send data to p5 from p1 I know ip of p5 How will this happen via router? I don't know if router exists or not I don't know the ip or mac of router

if there is an router it will automatically send the data only to the destinatination IP address.. Same way you know the destination ip address the router too knew it by the routing table it has..
