Love your videos and the knowledge you impart onto your followers. I would love your advice. I live right next to Fearless RC Dan is my neighbor! I want to buy my very first 1/5 scale RC what do you suggest I was leaning towards a 30 degree north but after watching this video I think maybe the Max 5 t is a better choice I think the engine in the 30 north might be a better one than the Rovan but what is your take on the first choice for a 1/5 RC love your dedication and hard work thank you for all you do brother!

Ok so the Max 5T requires a lot of maintenance. However, it is a very fun RC and I have lots of videos on how to work on it. Whatever you get, I suggest taking it apart and going through it and putting it back together so that you are fully familiarized with your new RC and it will be put together as I tight n right. The Roven 45 single ring makes great power I’m not at all happy with the dual ring. The 30° north trucks are superb. There is an issue with the V2 model. Dan at fearless will steer you in the right direction for that issue. The 30° north is awesome. You can literally put big bore power right into it and it can handle it. The 38 cc is a great engine. It makes great power I have tips to squeeze a little more out of it as well. And what pipe to pair it with. On either platform that you go with. The max 5T is a whole lot of fun and Dan sells plenty of parts for it. Should you bust it up. And I’m here to help you with any mechanical tips and tuning that you may need Brother. Crazy Mike hope you had a blessed Sunday brother! 🙏Definitely a single ring. I put together the whole engine. It runs really good Im super happy with it. The 45 is my favorite Rovan. The 36 single ring is a ripper too!

@eastsiderc yes the Olimat Pipe.. I love mine.. it gives some good mid and top end power. The 45 already has alot of bottom end torque. It compliments the brovan well.

hello brother. I have a 26cc engine, how many CC of oil do you think for 1 liter of petrol so that the engine lasts a long time??

Hey bro 50:1 will be sufficient enough for Synthetic oil. I prefer Amsoil Saber. But any quality synthetic oil will do. To much oil is not a good thing. I use 50:1 for all my two strokes with a 112 octane fuel and they all run and last a long time. Same for my chainsaws and weed eaters. Last for years on 50:1. Hope you have a great Sunday Riko!

This is actually just 17/57 but the giant tires change the whole ratio so its probably closer to 19/55 or even 20/54 as the car goes and the tires ballon things change again! So 17/57 makes a great gear but it will pull bigger honestly, but I love the torque wheelies

Haha Tyson always out there having fun with me however I get a little nervous when hes out in the midst of things. As you know hes my baby so I would be devastated if I hit him. He certainly was remembering when he used to chase them around. It breaks my heart to see him so old Ken but thank God I still have my boy!
