I was doing similar buying old HPI Savages, and other makers/models including Tamiya cars clean tidy and get them running then sell them on to help pay for the next lot. The prices have gone crazy the last two year so finding the bargains is getting harder. Thats the part of the hobby i enjoy.

Hi my nitro friend, try taking the rubber mounts off the servo that will lower the servo and the horn away from the foam filter, that’s what I would do mate, I don’t use those rubber mounts away they are a pain, have a good day.😊
